The Lantern in the Fog
Anne’s feet were tired and her breath was short as she walked through a grayness that seemed to have no end. In her hands, she held an unlit lantern, cold like the emptiness she felt inside after so many goodbyes, so many “no’s” spoken with difficulty, and too many swallowed silences.
At a certain point, quite simply, she couldn’t go on anymore. She stopped in the middle of the fog, feeling small and lost, with the desire to sit down on the ground and let herself go.
Suddenly, she felt the metal of the lantern beneath her fingers. With a slow gesture, almost like a caress to herself, she wiped the dust from the glass.
When she lit that small flame, the light immediately illuminated her shoes and the small patch of ground just in front of her. She smiled softly and took the first step.
She didn’t know where she would arrive, and yet she knew she could keep walking.
When Confusion Becomes an Evolutionary Passage
Many of us go through similar periods: moments when inner confusion seems to cloud everything, even what once felt clear. In these passages, we haven’t lost our light. We’ve simply forgotten it.
Inner confusion is not a mistake, nor a failure. It is often a sign that an old version of ourselves is making space for something more authentic. It’s like a room being reorganized: for a while, everything looks chaotic, but each object is moving toward a new order.
For sensitive, empathic, intuitive people, this phase can be particularly intense.
A sense of disorientation, of not belonging, of deep fatigue can arise.
The mind looks for answers while the heart asks to be heard.
Rediscovering your light does not mean “going back to how you were,” but allowing a new version of yourself truer and more aligned to emerge.
Listening to the Heart Beyond the Noise of the Mind
In times of confusion, the mind tends to want to control, understand, and categorize.
Light is not found through effort. It is found through presence.
Listening to the heart means slowing down, creating space and connecting with what moves beneath the surface: unprocessed emotions, memories, subconscious beliefs, stagnant energies asking to be seen and harmonized.
Sometimes confusion arises precisely from memories that no longer belong to us yet continue to influence us. Recognizing and transforming them is an act of self-love.
It is like removing veils one by one, without haste, with gentleness.

Light Does Not Need to Be Created : It Needs to Be Remembered
There is a fundamental truth: your light is not something you need to build or earn.
It is already there. It is your essence.
When you begin to remember this, something inside relaxes. You no longer have to fight to “fix” yourself,
you can simply come home, within yourself.
One Step at a Time, in Your Truth
As in the story of the lantern, you don’t need to see the entire path; it’s enough to illuminate the next step. Every act of listening, every conscious breath, every heart-led choice rekindles a little more of that light.
If you are in a period of inner confusion, know that you are crossing a threshold, and on the other side there is a version of you that is more aligned, freer, and more true.
